Winter’s Rose Cold Hardy Dwarf Camellia – 1 Gallon Pot

At only 3 feet tall and equally as wide when 10 years old, ‘Winter’s Rose’ is a true miniature and one of the smallest growing of the dwarf Camellia varieties we offer. Its smaller stature is perfectly suited for small spaces, beds and borders, patios, containers, and courtyards. As with other Dr. Ackerman selections, Winter’s Rose has demonstrated exceptional cold hardiness as far north as USDA Zone 6a. Its fully double shell-pink flowers bloom profusely over a 6 week period of time during the months of October, November and December, depending on the location. The semi-glossy, deep green foliage provides a perfect backdrop for the abundance of delightful flowers which are excellent for cutting and displaying in your favorite vase.

Note: Winter’s Rose Camellia may grow a little taller and wider over time however with minimal pruning it can be easily maintained at 3 feet or under in height.
