Among the tallest of the catmints, ‘Six Hills Giant’ is also prized as one of the hardiest (-30F) and most floriferous. Beginning in early summer, the billowing mound of aromatic, lemon-scented, soft grey-green foliage is topped with 8 to 10-inch spikes of very pretty, violet blue flowers that keep coming throughout the summer. Borne atop stems up to 36 inches tall, the flowers are a favorite of butterflies, hummingbirds and beneficial pollinators.
