Purple Showers Mexican Petunia – Ruellia – 1 Gallon Pot

Plant came in good condition. Ordered several different plants and this company did not trim the plants so they could jam them all in one shipping box (like I’ve had other online companies do). They fit what could comfortably fit and shipped more than one box. It’s obvious they care about the quality they ship out. They went to the top of my online order list! This plant arrived like it didn’t like the drive but perked up when planted. And to be clear, Wilson plants are the more robust plants I have ever received. The Mexican Petunia ordered arrived in mint condition. The plant was healthy and is producing the most vibrant purple blooms. I was most impressed by Wilson Brothers Gardens care in packaging the plant for shipment. The plant bloomed within 2 days of planting it and is a beautiful addition to my garden. My experience has been nothing but positive with my purchases from Wilson Brothers – and this is coming from someone with an iffy record as a gardener. I purchased a couple of Mexican petunias from Wilson Brothers to replace the ones that didn’t make it through our Kansas winter. They are doing great. Plants arrived in perfect condition. Can’t wait until the Mexican Petunia’s start blooming. Having had these plants previously – I know they bloom during the hottest of summers right through to the first frost. The blooms drop every afternoon and there are more beautiful blooms the next day. I swear, when I opened the box they were blooming, I planted them a couple of days later, and they’ve never stopped! We have a large clump growing in our gardens and there’s not a day from late spring to frost that the plant isn’t in flower. Hope you enjoy it for years to come. Oh, one other note…though the plant is somewhat drought tolerant when established, this plant can take all the water Mother Nature or you can give it, and will bloom more with a consistently moist soil.
