Blue Zinger Sedge Grass (Carex Flacca) – 6 Pack Of 1 Gallon Pots

A highly attractive and adaptable ornamental grass, Blue Zinger Carex forms a tousled mound of lovely, cool blue thin leaves that provide outstanding fine texture and striking color as an accent in garden beds or containers or as a border or in groupings in landscape and garden beds. Thriving in moist, wet or dry soil and in sun or shade, Blue Zinger Carex is very easy to grow and requires little to no maintenance. We do little to nothing to the established plants in our gardens and they still keep growing and performing well. Can’t get much easier or better than that!

Note: Blue Zinger Sedge will require consistent moisture to grow in full sun. Otherwise, in drier soils we suggest shade to part shade with shade or filtered sun during the afternoon hours. 

Growing 12 to 16 inches tall and spreading to around 24 inches wide, Blue Zinger Carex is ideal for use as an accent in smaller garden spaces or containers or in groupings or as a border in landscape beds or along paths and walkways. It also makes a fine grassy accent in mixed with other plants in combination container gardens. It is an excellent alternative to Blue Fescue. A fine addition to ornamental grass gardens, shade gardens and blue theme gardens. 

Blue Zinger Sedge is incredibly easy to grow in most moist but well drained to even we soil and in sun or shade. It does require consistent moisture in sun but is quite drought tolerant in shady sites. Very little, if any maintenance is required. Plants can be cut back to the ground after winter if necessary.
